Palazzo Medici Riccardi is one of the most beautiful and famous buildings in Florence and offers its visitor’s the opportunity to retrace over four centuries of the history of art, architecture and collectionism of Florence. Built in the mid-15th Century by Michelozzo on commission from the Medici, then bought and enlarged by the Riccardi’s in the mid-16th Century, it has belonged to the Provincial Authority since the end of the 19th Century.
